These Terms of Use govern your use of https://ignaciosegovia.com (the “Site”), operated by Ignacio Segovia, a sole proprietor based in South Florida, United States. In these terms, “I” and “my” refer to Ignacio Segovia.

By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is handled.

Information only, not professional advice

The content on the Site, including any articles and the Sample SOP, is for general information. It is not legal, financial, medical, HR or regulatory compliance advice. Before you act on any of it, check that it fits your situation and consult a qualified professional where needed.

Services

I offer fixed-scope consulting and training services, as described on the Services page.

  • The prices on the Services page are indicative ranges, not quotes.
  • Before any work starts, I deliver a written proposal with the scope, a fixed price and the timeline.
  • That proposal, or a signed agreement, prevails over these terms for that engagement.

No guarantee of results

I do not guarantee specific results, such as adoption or performance. Results depend on how you and your team implement the work.

Intellectual property

  • Deliverables. Deliverables created for you become yours once you have paid for them in full.
  • My materials. I keep ownership of my templates, methods, frameworks, checklists and other pre-existing materials. I grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use them, as part of your deliverables, within your own company.
  • Site content. The content of the Site belongs to Ignacio Segovia. You may not copy, republish or sell it without my written permission.

Sample SOP license

You may use the Sample SOP freely inside your own company. You may not resell it, redistribute it, or present it as a consulting deliverable.

Confidentiality

I treat the business information you share with me as confidential and use it only for your engagement. I will not publish anything about your business, or use it as a case study or testimonial, without your written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. My total liability for any engagement is limited to the amount you paid for that engagement.

The Site is provided “as is”

The Site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. I do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

Third-party links

The Site links to or embeds third-party services, such as WhatsApp and YouTube. I do not control them and I am not responsible for them. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute related to these terms or the Site will be brought in the courts of Florida.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
