Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how https://ignaciosegovia.com (the “Site”) handles personal information. The Site is operated by Ignacio Segovia, a sole proprietor based in South Florida, United States. In this policy, “I” and “my” refer to Ignacio Segovia.

What information I receive

The Site does not have contact forms, and it does not store what you type anywhere on the Site. I receive personal information in two ways.

  • Messages you send me. The buttons on the Site open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. Whatever you send through WhatsApp is processed by WhatsApp (Meta) and reaches me there. You can also write to me by email. I receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, your contact details, your company and what you need help with.
  • Technical data. The Site’s server, provided by Hostinger, records standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser or device, the pages requested, and the date and time of each request.

How I use information

  • To answer your messages and emails and to discuss possible work together.
  • To deliver services and manage the business relationship once you become a client.
  • To operate, secure and speed up the Site. The server data above is used for this purpose, including through caching and the Hostinger CDN.
  • To meet legal obligations.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. No analytics tools are installed on the Site. The public pages do not send cookies from the server.

  • Strictly necessary cookies. The only cookies in use are the ones WordPress sets if someone signs in as an administrator.
  • Fonts. Fonts are hosted on the Site itself.
  • YouTube video. The Site embeds a YouTube video in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube/Google may set cookies or use local storage only when you play the video.
  • Hostinger Reach. The pages load a script from Hostinger Reach, Hostinger’s email marketing tool. There are currently no subscription forms on the Site.

Service providers

I use the following providers to run the Site and communicate with you:

  • Hostinger, for hosting, email and the CDN.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), for messaging.
  • YouTube (Google), only for the embedded video, and only when you play it.

Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. I do not sell personal information, and I do not share it for advertising.

How long I keep information

  • Messages and emails: for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage the business relationship, and no more than 3 years after our last contact, unless the law requires me to keep them longer.
  • Server logs: according to Hostinger’s retention policy.

Your rights

You can ask me for access to the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. To do so, contact me by WhatsApp or email using the details below.

If you live in a U.S. state with its own privacy law (for example, California) or in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under your local law. I will handle those requests as the applicable law requires.

Children

The Site is intended for professional use by adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, contact me and I will delete it.

Security

I take reasonable measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
